Material feeding
Material enters through a hopper toward the screw. Size, moisture, temperature, cleanliness, and preparation affect the process, so procedures should match the material and equipment.
Compression inside the barrel
The rotating screw conveys and compresses the material. Screw geometry and space along the barrel create changing mechanical pressure.
Oil and cake separation
Oil exits through gaps or filtering sections while solids move toward the cake outlet. Results depend on actual material and parameters, not only machine size.
Data for equipment selection
Material type, capacity, preparation, recovery target, oil quality, cake, utilities, cleaning, and downstream filtration should be discussed before selecting a model.
