Polymer preparation
A PAM Preparation Unit prepares solution through feeding, wetting, mixing, and maturation according to the system. Incompletely prepared solution can produce inconsistent floc response.
Dosing and flocculation
A metering pump introduces solution at the mixing point. Mixing energy should distribute polymer without damaging formed flocs.
Feeding the Screw Press
Conditioned sludge then enters thickening and dewatering zones. Feed or polymer changes should be monitored through floc, filtrate, cake, and operating stability.
