Screw shaft and drive

The drive rotates the screw at its designed speed. The screw transports sludge from inlet to discharge while helping develop gradual pressure.

Fixed and moving rings

The ring assembly forms filtration gaps. Relative movement of the moving rings helps clean those gaps during operation, while washing and inspection remain necessary.

Flocculation and feed section

Conditioned sludge enters with flocs that need to remain intact. Excessive mixing or feed changes can affect separation in the screw section.

Filtrate, washing, and discharge

Separated water is collected through filtrate paths, sprays rinse the filtration area, and cake exits at the end. Each path should be kept free of blockage and leakage.
